Stephanie Aaronson

Director, Annual Campaign Affinities, The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore

Stephanie Aaronson, MPA joined The Associated: Jewish Federation of Greater Baltimore in January 2023 as the Director of Annual Campaign Affinities.

As a nonprofit professional, Stephanie has focused her career on community engagement and fundraising through her positions at Americans for Ben-Gurion University, the Stroum Jewish Community Center, The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, and the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Stephanie stepped into the nonprofit fundraising space. She led a 400+ fund stewardship portfolio at the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering and worked with donors to show the impact of their giving through on-campus visits, mailings, and alumni events. After receiving her master’s degree in nonprofit management, she pivoted her focus to leadership and Jewish identity programming via the Diller Teen Fellows Program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There, her relationship with Israel flourished, and she immersed herself in learning about Judaism around the world. After moving to Seattle, Stephanie joined the Stroum Jewish Community Center in 2020 to help the incredible team navigate community engagement during the pandemic. Coming to Baltimore, Stephanie joined the Americans for Ben-Gurion University team as a community engagement professional. While there, she led a Baltimore and DC 150-person fundraising portfolio, launched new markets, and increased national community partnership engagement.
