Rick is a passionate leader who specializes in helping organizations leverage technology to accelerate the achievement of their business initiatives. He has over 23 years of experience transforming, modernizing, and innovating business processes at scale – 12 of those years working for non-profits.

Rick’s IT career began in technology engineering and transitioned into leadership roles later – serving as a CTO/CIO prior to joining Microsoft. Throughout his career, he has partnered with business and technology roles – implementing strategic change in the following business domains: Healthcare, Non-Profit, Transportation & Logistics, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Audit, Security, Manufacturing, Customer Service & Support, Retail, and Sales & Marketing.

Academically, Rick holds a business undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in information systems management. Additionally, he serves as a member of Utah State University’s Data Analytics & Information Systems Advisory Board.

Presently, Rick serves as the Business Applications Customer Success Manager for the Americas within Microsoft’s Tech. for Social Impact organization.
