Laurence Kotler-Berkowitz

Senior Director, Rosov Consulting

Laurence Kotler-Berkowitz is Senior Director at Rosov Consulting, where he leads the company's quantitative research team, designs and directs projects, contributes to company strategy, and develops new business.

He has more than two decades of experience conducting research in the Jewish communal sector, with a focus on survey design and implementation, data analysis, project management, report writing, and presentations. His research has covered topics in the sociology, demography, and political and economic behavior of contemporary Jews, especially in the United States.

Laurence currently serves as Vice President of the Association for the Social Scientific Study of Jewry, a professional organization of academic and applied researchers of contemporary Jewry, and he sits on the advisory committee of the American Jewish Year Book. He has also been an adviser to studies conducted by the Pew Research Center, Jewish Federations, and Jewish family foundations. 

Before joining Rosov Consulting, Laurence worked in various research roles at the Jewish Federations of North America for 20 years, most recently as Senior Director of Research and Analysis and Director of the Berman Jewish DataBank. 

Laurence holds a PhD in Political Science, MA in Modern Jewish Society and Politics, and BA in Political Science and Judaic Studies, all from Brown University, and a MA in Jewish Communal Service from Brandeis University.
