Melanie is the Vice President of Community Planning and Allocations at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

Melanie is responsible for the process of understanding the local Cleveland community’s needs and gaps in how those needs are met. Melanie works closely with our social service, community building and education agencies to proactively raise issues that face the Cleveland Jewish community. Melanie has an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan.  Melanie began her career at Deloitte Consulting in Human Capital practice working on large consumer goods and public sector transformations, and then later in the Strategic Change and Communications practice. Immediately prior to joining Federation, Melanie led strategic planning consulting projects at Civic Consulting Alliance, a non-profit that assembles pro bono teams of staff, business experts, and civic leaders to address major public policy issues.
