Director, Jewish Teen Initiative , Combined Jewish Philanthropies

Brett Lubarsky serves as Director, Jewish Teen Initiative at Combined Jewish Philanthropies, a national model for Jewish teen engagement helping to connect, inspire and empower teens and professionals throughout the Greater Boston community.

He is the founding director of the JTI Peer Leadership Fellowship, a relationship-driven peer engagement model that has been adapted around the country. Brett has been creating moments, spaces and systems of meaning and connection for Jewish youth, families, emerging adults and professionals for more than 20 years, working extensively with congregations, day schools, summer camps, and organizations throughout the country. Brett holds a BA in Human Services from Lesley University, an MA in Jewish Education from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, and a Certificate in Experiential Education, Youth Leadership and Camping from Hebrew College. He is a graduate of the M² Senior Educators Cohort with M²: the Institute for Experiential Jewish Education.
