Charlie Glassenberg is Vice President, Risk Management and Investment Partnerships at Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston (CJP).

Charlie’s work includes overseeing CJP’s enterprise risk management program, growing CJP’s Donor Advised Fund program, and staffing CJP’s investment oversight and gift acceptance committees. He has also played an active role in CJP’s legacy giving and endowment fundraising efforts. Since joining CJP in 2008, Charlie has helped grow CJP’s philanthropic capital under management from $560 million to over $2.7 billion.

Prior to joining CJP in 2008, Charlie held development management and frontline fundraising roles at Hebrew SeniorLife in Boston and Harvard University. He has a BA from Amherst College, an MA from Johns Hopkins University, and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. Charlie is a past member of the Executive Board of the Planned Giving Group of New England, is a past School Committee Co-Chair and Trustee of Temple Emanuel in Newton Centre, Massachusetts and has served as a Class Leadership Giving Co-Chair for Amherst College.
