Executive Vice President of Memphis Jewish Federation & Chief Impact Officer, Jewish Community Partners

Bluma Zuckerbrot-Finkelstein is Executive Vice President of Memphis Jewish Federation and Chief Impact Officer for Jewish Community Partners. In this capacity, she manages Memphis Jewish Federation’s community needs assessment and planning initiatives, its multi-tiered granting processes, Israel & Overseas agenda, Community Relations and Jewish engagement programming.

Her professional experience includes directing the Middle Eastern Affairs Department of the Anti-Defamation League and consulting for the American Jewish Committee.

For many years, she was an adjunct professor in the Judaic Studies Department at University of Memphis, teaching classes in Zionist history, Israeli Politics and Arab-Israeli Conflict as well as an instructor in Zionism at the Goldie Margolin High School for Girls in Memphis.

Bluma is also an avid student of Tanach (Bible) and teaches Torah classes including a monthly text-based women’s Rosh Chodesh class.

She holds a BA and MA in Middle Eastern Studies from Barnard College and Harvard University, respectively.
