Dahlia Bendavid is Director of Israel and Overseas at Greater Miami Jewish Federation.

As Director of the Israel and Overseas Department, Dahlia lends professional leadership to the Federation’s overseas agenda by providing opportunities for philanthropic investment abroad and in Israel. Working with distinguished community leaders, she directs the Israel and Overseas Committee, a standing committee that is committed to engaged global justice through philanthropy, as well as various subcommittees. In this role, Dahlia develops and oversees all aspects of Miami’s international partnerships, including the allocation of over $8 million dollars to overseas recipients.

Over the past twenty years, Dahlia’s prominent leadership at the Federation has been demonstrated in a variety of areas including the Human Resource Development Department where she developed and implemented numerous leadership development programs.

 Dahlia has extensive work experience in nonprofit management having worked at UNICEF in Private Sector Fundraising and as a Development Officer at AVSC International, a women’s health nonprofit organization. She has lived in Modi’in, Israel and worked at the Research Authority at Bar Ilan University.

Dahlia holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations/Human Resource Management from Cornell University/Baruch College, CUNY. Dahlia is a certified life coach and a certified happiness trainer.

She resides in Aventura, FL and has two adult children, Ariel and Noam.
