Michal Werner is Associate Executive Director of Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ (JCF).
Michal joined the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) in 2019. The JCF is the planned giving and endowment arm of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. The JCF administers $600 million in assets among close to 800 funds and awarded more than $70 million in grants in the past year. In her role, Michal helps lead all development efforts, including the launch of the $250 million centennial campaign, marking the 100th anniversary of the Federation this year. She oversees JCF marketing and communications, supervises the development team, manages internal operations, and works alongside the Executive Director to engage the board of trustees and various committees.
Prior to JCF, Michal has held positions at the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, Johns Hopkins University and Medicine, Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and at Penn State Hillel. Michal holds a M.A. in Strategic Non-Profit and Corporate Communications from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Communications from The Pennsylvania State University. Michal lives in Randolph, NJ with her husband Ben and three sons, Gabriel, Zachary and Ethan.
