Kara Rosenwald is the Director of Global Experiences and Events at the Minneapolis Jewish Federation. Kara began at MJF as the Experience Israel Mission Coordinator for the Minneapolis community Mega Mission.
Kara loves watching the transformational experiences that happen in the environments she collaborates to create. Kara is excited to attend FedPro for the first time this year and help create opportunities for partnership and shared successes!
Kara has worked for Hillel of San Diego as the Graduate Student Program Coordinator, the Director of Youth Activities at Beth Emeth in Virginia, Camp Ramah in Wisconsin as an Educational Consultant and Program Coordinator, Camp Ramah in California as the Early Childhood Family Camp & Passover Program Coordinator and Kara also taught at the Talmud Torah of Minneapolis.
Kara completed her Graduate certificate in Israel Education from George Washington University in collaboration with the iCenter (i for Israel) in 2022. A lifelong learner, Kara also has a Masters degree from Gratz College in Jewish Professional Studies with a dual focus in Holocaust Education and Non-Profit Organization Administration and is a proud graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Psychology and Jewish Studies.
Kara enjoys traveling through life with her husband Uri and two terrific teens, Jeremy (at KU -Rock Chalk!) & Ariella (a junior in high school).
