Kim Hirsh
Executive Director, Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ
Kim Hirsh heads the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest (JCF), the planned giving and endowment arm of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ.
The JCF administers $600 million in assets among close to 800 funds and awarded more than $70 million in grants in the past year.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the JCF, Kim is the lead professional steering Greater MetroWest’s $250 million Centennial Campaign, marking the 100th anniversary of the Federation this year. To date, more than $190 million has been committed by about 300 donor families towards current supplemental and endowment and legacy gifts to enhance and secure the Federation today and for its second century and beyond.
Prior to becoming executive director in 2019, Kim worked for 14 years as Director of Philanthropic Initiatives, partnering with multi-generational philanthropic families to help fulfill their vision and transform and secure vital areas of the Greater MetroWest Jewish community.
Before joining Federation and JCF, Kim was development director of a Jewish day school, the Gottesman RTW Academy, and worked for nearly 20 years as a newspaper and magazine journalist and public relations professional.
Kim loves skiing, biking, yoga, pilates and vegging on the beach. She is the proud Mom of three adult children and three adult step children.
