Danny Cohn

CEO, The Birmingham Jewish Federation and Foundation

Danny Cohn is the CEO of The Birmingham Jewish Federation and Birmingham Jewish Foundation.

Prior to becoming a Jewish professional in 2020, Danny enjoyed a two-decade long career in global marketing, leading public relations programs for brands such as Starbucks, Burger King, Pyrex, Sears and Allstate Insurance.  Having a crisis of conscious after the birth of his daughter, Danny left the for-profit world in search of something that would ignite his passions and add more meaning to his life – leading him from lay to professional in the world of Federation.  Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Kansas and a Master of Public Administration from The Ohio University. Originally from Omaha with a 15-year stint in Chicago, Danny currently lives with his husband Andrew, daughter Nora and Wheaton Terrier, Lucy in Mountain Brook, Alabama.
