Amanda Goldstein is a senior philanthropic professional and strategic manager with extensive experience in securing leadership gifts and building meaningful philanthropy programs. 

Amanda’s role as Atid Team Lead and Program Facilitator is a direct extension of her passion for connecting and advising highly philanthropically capable individuals and families, ensuring they have the tools and resources to effect positive change in the Jewish community and the world. She plays a key role in shaping Atid’s local and national expansion and securing critical operational support for ongoing growth. 

Amanda currently serves as Vice President of Philanthropy and FRD at Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), where she leads and oversees national fundraising initiatives and high-level philanthropic programs, including Fisher FLIGHT and Atid. In addition, she works closely with partners at Jewish Federations throughout North America to develop and implement comprehensive field-wide fundraising strategies. Prior to this role, she served as JFNA’s Associate Vice President of Principal and Leadership Gifts, in which she led all national fundraising campaigns and created significant philanthropic investment opportunities.  

Before joining JFNA, Amanda’s previous positions included Deputy Chief Development Officer for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, where she was responsible for creating and developing the Sharon and Joseph Kestenbaum Legacy Philanthropy Program and overseeing all unrestricted and restricted fundraising; Assistant Vice President of Campaign Programs at the Free Library of Philadelphia, where she managed all fundraising and communications for a $150 million comprehensive campaign, Building Inspiration; and Associate Director of Development for the Penn Libraries at the University of Pennsylvania, where she secured capacity gifts for a $47 million campaign and developed a strong leadership pipeline.  

Amanda is originally from New York City. She received her BA from Barnard College and her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Merion Station, Pennsylvania with her husband Scott and their five young children.
