Shayna Kreisler is the Vice President for Lay Leadership Development at The Jewish Federations of North America.

She is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for how excellent 21st century Jewish leaders help us meet the vision for Flourishing Jewish Communities. Most recently, Shayna was the Senior Director for National Young Leadership Cabinet where she developed and implemented innovative approaches in leadership development for philanthropists in their 30s and 40s across North America. In her role as Senior Director, she cultivated strategies and relationships developing and advancing experiences that sustain and strengthen the future of Jewish Leadership in North America. Prior to the Jewish Federations of North America, Shayna was the Associate Executive Director for Programs at the 14th Street Y where she oversaw a period of dynamic growth. Shayna has also worked for BBYO International where she built community across the globe through civic engagement and teen leadership, taught art in NYC schools and has worked in design for top studios in Philadelphia and New York. Shayna earned an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, a Masters in Arts Education from The Steinhardt School at NYU, and a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. Shayna lives in Brooklyn with her husband, daughter, and their pup, Ralph.
