Jodi Green
Director of Advocacy and External Relations, Jewish Federation of Ottawa
Jodi Green is the Director of Advocacy and External Relations at the Jewish Federation of Ottawa and has spent her career helping Jews connect to their community. She believes that every Jew can find a home within our faith and culture and strives to make the Jewish community a welcoming place for all.
Prior to joining the Federation team, Jodi was the Coordinator of Jewish Life and Community Inclusion at Tamir, an Ottawa organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities. It was during her time at Tamir, that she found her passion for supporting and being an ally to people with disabilities and a commitment to making the Jewish community an accessible space.
Her main Federation portfolio involves building bridges with non-Jewish clergy and cultural community leaders to push back antisemitism to the fringes of society and as such visits many houses of prayer and community centres. In addition to discussing allyship, she always takes note of the accessibility features.
