Matthew has dedicated more than 17 years to providing high-quality accounting and consulting services to the nonprofit industry. He has extensive experience working with all subsegments of the nonprofit industry, including but not limited to human service organizations, NGOs, Jewish-based and religious organizations, foundations, and membership organizations. Matt’s vast industry knowledge also includes federal awards and Single Audits, as well as all types of employee benefit plans. He is a liaison with the BDO U.S.-Israel Desk, a platform designed to enable exceptional services both in the U.S. and Israel.     

Matt was recently honored by City and State New York and NYN Media in the 2021 Nonprofit40 Under 40 as a rising star helping the nonprofit industry thrive.  

Matt is an industry thought leader who presents on various topics and writes for the BDO Nonprofit Standard newsletter on financial reporting, benchmarking and key performance indicators and nonprofit governance. He also enjoys providing technical, operational, and strategic advice to management and those charged with governance.
