Heather Barraza
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Jewish Federation of Broward County
Heather Barraza serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Jewish Federation of Broward County. She oversees the Federation’s financial strategy, accounting, investments, budgeting, and operations, working closely with professional colleagues and lay leadership to ensure long-term financial health and stability.
She holds a Master of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University and previously spent nine years at Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra as a supervisor in the Tax and Accounting Department.
Heather brings more than a decade of service to the Jewish Federation of Broward County and is deeply committed to strong governance, financial transparency, and building the infrastructure needed to support the evolving needs of the Broward Jewish community.
She recently led the Federation’s search and transition to a new Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO), partnering with North Pier to complete a comprehensive evaluation and selection process.
A Broward County native, she is passionate about ensuring a vibrant Jewish future where her son can experience the same sense of connection and Jewish life that shaped her own.
