Zoe Katz
Social Media and Digital Content Manager, UJA- Federation of New York
Zoe J. Katz is a social media professional and content creator with more than a decade of experience in social media strategy, design, development, and execution. As UJA-Federation of New York's Social Media and Digital Content Manager, she has overseen exponential growth of UJA's social media landscape and influence over the last four years. She creates agile systems for content ideation and creation, and finds innovative solutions — and her Zoe-of-All-Trades mentality — to navigate everything from October 7th to influencers gone rogue. She is passionate about learning and facilitating digital, visual, and social media literacy among her colleagues at UJA and across UJA's network of partners and grantees.
Zoe lives in Brooklyn but hails from a small town outside of Athens, Georgia. Prior to joining the Federation system in 2020, Zoe worked as a freelance social media strategist, designer, and journalist. As a journalist, her work has appeared in national publications, and she was selected as one of 39 fellows in the nation to cover swing-state elections in 2020 for the Hearken Foundation’s ElectionSOS fellowship, reporting on Georgia’s local, state, and national elections for the Macon Telegraph.
She holds a degree in History with a certificate in Global Leadership from Agnes Scott College. In her very rare spare time, Zoe enjoys rooting on her beloved Georgia Bulldogs, writing and playwriting, and learning as many creative mediums as possible, which, as of late, is ceramics.
