Maayan Blum

Vice President, Community Impact, Greater Miami Jewish Federation

Since relocating from Jerusalem to Miami in 2000, Maayan has been deeply committed to advancing the nonprofit sector. As Vice President of Community Impact at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, she leads the oversight, funding, and strategic partnerships with the Federation’s network of local and national beneficiary agencies, Jewish day schools, and synagogues. She spearheads evaluation, data analysis, and impact measurement efforts that drive evidence-based planning and continuous organizational improvement. Maayan also directs a broad portfolio of community-facing initiatives, including the Federation’s inclusion and engagement efforts, the Federation’s Volunteer Center, BeWell Miami, the Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance, and the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Miami. 

Before joining the Federation, Maayan served as Director of the Miami Quality Management Department at Children’s Home Society of Florida, a statewide nonprofit child welfare agency. She earned her MBA from the University of Miami and holds a bachelor’s degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A proud veteran of the Israel Defense Forces, Maayan served as a chief airborne medic instructor in the Air Force medical unit. She is a recent graduate of the Mandel Institute’s Executive Leadership Program and lives in Miami Shores with her two sons.
