Sam Bernstein

Chief Development and Marketing Officer, Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte

Sam Bernstein is Chief Development and Marketing Officer at Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte. He joined Federation in a professional capacity in 2019 after serving several years as a volunteer for the organization, including President. He has also served on several other boards in the Charlotte Jewish community and is an Honorary Life President at Temple Israel. Prior to joining Federation, Sam was at Family Dollar Stores for over thirty years serving in a variety of roles including Vice President – General Merchandise Manager and Vice President of Marketing.  

Sam is a graduate of East Carolina University. He and his wife, Nancy, have three daughters and two grandchildren.
