Andrea Cohen
Senior Director of Jewish Life, Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix
Andrea Cohen serves as Senior Director of Jewish Life for the Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix. Her portfolio incorporates both Federation and Foundation initiatives; youth philanthropy, summer camp and teen Israel funding, convening community youth professionals, parent-teen service groups, Arizona Jews for Pride and Jewish heritage day with the Diamondbacks. Jewish summer camp provided the foundational experiences that drove her to pursue a career in Jewish communal service. Living her camper dream, she has spent over 20 summers creating Jewish community as an overnight camp director.
Within the greater Phoenix community, Andrea serves on the Governor's workgroup dedicated to advancing youth service in Arizona and is a strategic partner in the development of the Civic Shift. She attended the University of Arizona where she served as Hillel President and Program Director upon graduation. She earned a Master of Social Work from Yeshiva University and recently completed the M2 Senior Educators Cohort. She and her husband are very proud of their two adult children, one of whom is a Springboard Fellow at Arizona State University Hillel.
