Shoshana Farbman

BeWell Miami Director, Greater Miami Jewish Federation;

Shoshana Farbman joined the Greater Miami Jewish Federation team in 2023 as the BeWell Miami Director. Shoshana oversees the development and implementation of this initiative that is geared toward providing education, resources, and tools to support adolescent (ages 12-26) mental health and wellness within the Jewish community. Shoshana is a licensed clinical social worker, practicing as a social worker for close to fifteen years and working with Jewish teens and young adults throughout her career for over twenty years. Shoshana has spent her career thus far working in a variety of clinical and community spaces, including working with children, youth and families involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, as a therapist with undergrad and graduate students at a local university, and running the Diller Teen Fellows and March of the Living programs in Miami. Shoshana is passionate about integrating mental health training and education with informal Jewish education and programming for parents, professionals, and adolescents through her work with BeWell Miami.   

Shoshana received her undergraduate education at the Joint Program between Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary and her MSW at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in New York City. Shoshana lives in Cooper City, FL with her husband, Eric, and two boys, Sammy and Ezra.
