Joy Prevor

Chief Impact Officer, Jewish Federation of Broward County

Joy brings more than 25 years of experience in Jewish communal leadership, philanthropy, and strategic community building to her current role as Chief Impact Officer of the Jewish Federation of Broward County. Overseeing the Federation’s Impact and Engagement teams- the core of the organization’s work supporting Jewish life in Broward County, in Israel, and around the world – she leads strategy and execution across community investment, outcomes measurement, partnership development, and inclusive engagement, helping to align how the Federation invests, collaborates, and delivers impact across the Jewish ecosystem. 

Prior to joining Jewish Broward, Joy held senior leadership roles across the Jewish communal sector, including Chief Development Officer at Miami Jewish Health, Vice President of the National Campaign at Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, and multiple leadership positions at UJA-Federation of New York, where she served as Director of the Wall Street and Financial Services Division and later as Associate Director overseeing several affinity campaigns. Most recently, she directed the Elevate Leadership Program at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, advancing leadership development and community capacity building. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Joy holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and the Jewish Theological Seminary. She lives in Parkland with her husband, son, and dog.
