Executive Director, Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) of Greater MetroWest NJ

Michal is the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) of Greater MetroWest NJ, one of the largest Jewish Community foundations in the United States and among the top two community foundations of any kind in New Jersey, with more than $820 million in assets under management. 

In her previous role as Associate Executive Director of JCF, Michal played a pivotal role in overseeing all development efforts, including the operations and administration of the Centennial Campaign, which marked Federation’s 100th anniversary in 2023.  Furthermore, she oversaw JCF’s marketing, communications, and internal operations, while actively engaging with the board of trustees and various committees. 

Michal is a Certified Charter Advisor in Philanthropy and 21/64 certified advisor, engaging with donors and families in multigenerational and family philanthropy. Before joining JCF in 2019, Michal held positions at the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, Johns Hopkins University and Medicine, Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, and Penn State Hillel. 

Michal has an M.A. in Strategic Non-Profit and Corporate Communications from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Communications from the Pennsylvania State University. Michal resides in Randolph, NJ, with her husband Ben and three sons, Gabe, Zach, and Ethan.
