David Abel

Principal Solution Consultant, Sage Intact

Dave Abel has accumulated over 35 years of combined experience in accounting and ERP projects.  As a Principal Solution Consultant in the NFP vertical for Sage Intacct, Dave focuses on gathering requirements, business objectives and pain points of nonprofit organizations.  Leveraging that knowledge, he then presents possible solutions and the potential of Sage Intacct’s best in class cloud core financials system so they can meet and achieve their mission now and well into the future. 

Prior to joining Sage Intacct, Dave was employed as Director of Clients Services and Product Solutions at Serenic Software.  There, Dave was responsible for overseeing the support, development and consulting teams, sponsoring projects and creating and managing the vision for the department’s overall success measured by revenue attainment and client satisfaction. 

Dave has also worked as a Principal Consultant at Serenic Software and a Sr. Application Consultant for ParenteBeard (now Baker Tilly) managing and implementing ERP Software projects. 

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from the University of Scranton – Kania School of Management.
