Jami joined the Mandel Center in 2023 as Associate Vice President of Talent Development, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in the Jewish communal sector. She partners with organizations across the field on executive searches and talent strategy, working closely with both professional and lay leaders to attract, develop, and retain high-impact teams.

Prior to joining the Mandel Center, Jami served as Senior Program Officer at Glazer Philanthropies, where she stewarded more than $14 million annually in grantmaking, primarily supporting Jewish and Israel-related initiatives. Earlier in her career, her work centered on organizational growth, program development, and change leadership. Her previous roles include Director of Development at IKAR; Southern California Development Officer at Birthright Israel Foundation; Assistant Director at the UCLA Center for Jewish Studies; and Philanthropy Manager at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. 

Jami holds a B.A. in Jewish Studies and Near Eastern Languages and Cultures from Indiana University, as well as an M.B.A. in Nonprofit Management and an M.A. in Jewish Communal Studies from American Jewish University.
