Sarah Lefkowitz

Director of NextGen, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia

Sarah Lefkowitz joined the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia in 2021 as a Development Associate, bringing with her years of experience as a Jewish communal professional that began in the synagogue world. She quickly proved herself to be an exceptional relationship builder and fundraiser, and in 2023 transitioned into Major Gifts, where she led strategic fundraising initiatives that strengthened Jewish Federation’s presence and impact across the community, including stewarding Israel Emergency Campaign donors.  

Now, as the Director of NextGen, Sarah oversees engagement and philanthropic opportunities for Jewish young professionals, inspiring them to invest both their time and dollars while building a strong foundation for the next generation of Jewish leaders and philanthropists. 

Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree from York College, PA and a Fundraising Certification from Temple University.
