Alachua Haskins
Senior Impact Director, Shalom Austin
Alachua earned her Bachelor’s in Near Eastern & Judaic Studies from Brandeis University and her Master’s in Jewish Education from Hebrew College, specializing in Interfaith Families Jewish Engagement. She began her decade-plus career in Jewish education at the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life (ISJL) in Jackson, MS, first as an Education Fellow and then as the Cultural Programming Director. Alachua joined the team at Shalom Austin six years ago where she serves as the Senior Engagement Director for The Bernard & Audre Rapoport Center for Jewish Culture & Education. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, 90s karaoke, and experimenting with hair color.
Alachua Haskins was a participant in Jewish Federations Executive Accelerator Cohort I and continues to be involved as an Alumnus.
