Becka Ross

Assistant Director, Fundraising Institute, Mandel Center for Leadership Excellence, JFNA

Becka Ross is the Assistant Director, Fundraising Institute in the Mandel Center for Leadership Excellence at JFNA.

She comes to JFNA after serving as Executive Director of Santa Cruz Hillel. Becka previously worked at the Portland, Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley Jewish Federations, and was a graduate of the Federation Executive Recruitment and Education Program (FEREP). In addition to working at Hillel and Federations, she also spent seven years leading fundraising teams at statewide and international organizations focused on the intersection of gender and educational equity. Becka has Masters’ degrees in Jewish Education and Jewish Non-Profit Management from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, and a Master’s concentration in Israel Education from the iCenter. She received her B.A. in Communications from Lewis and Clark College. Becka lives in Santa Cruz, CA with her partner, Nate, and their ninety-pound lap dog, Hank.
