Vice Chair , Jewish Federations of North America

Jeff Schoenfeld is the Vice Chair of Jewish Federations of North America and brings an extensive resume of leadership roles in the Federation system. As Vice Chair, Jeff has lay responsibility for JFNA’s Talent initiatives and he serves as the Co-Chair of JFNA's Israel Emergency Allocations Committee on behalf of Federations across North America. In connection with these roles, Jeff serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Board of Directors of JDC. Jeff is a past President of UJA-Federation of NY, the largest local philanthropy in the world.
In his spare time, Jeff serves on the boards of the Jim Joseph Foundation, the Jewish Funders Network, the NPR foundation, amfAR, and the Wharton School's Graduate Board. Professionally, Jeff is a retired Partner at Brown Brothers Harriman, America's oldest and largest private bank, where he led its Asset Management activities.
