Brian Eglash is the Chief Development Officer and Senior Vice President, overseeing all development operations such as the annual campaign, Federation Foundation, supplemental giving, capital campaigns, corporate giving and government grants.

 
Brian joined the staff of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh in 1997 as Assistant Planning Director and Partnership 2000 Coordinator.  He has held several positions within the Federation including:  Director of Allocations and Overseas Operations (October 2000 to October 2002); Director of Agency Endowment Development (October 2002 to October 2004); Director of Campaign and Financial Resource Development (October 2004 to June 2008); and Senior Vice President & FRD (June 2008-June 2011).  He is also a graduate of the Jewish Federations of North America's Mandel Executive Development Program.
 
Brian is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee (UWM) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science.  He also holds a Masters of Arts degree from UWM in Educational Policy and Community Studies specializing in Middle Eastern/Contemporary Jewish studies. Brian, his wife Rachel- a dentist, daughter Daniella (also a Chicago based dentist) and son Yonathan reside in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
